Harold Martin

Each interview teaches you how to get the work through three major topics:
  • how to build authority in one or more practice areas or industry niches,
  • how to convert prospects into clients at a higher rate, and
  • how to improve engagement pricing and profitability.

Why Harold?

Parlaying his undergraduate degree in English and first job in banking, Harold’s BVFLS career evolved as opportunities presented themselves. Those opportunities took Harold to IT consulting at Price Waterhouse and then on to litigation/financial investigation work at Coopers & Lybrand (yes, we’re talking Big Eight days here).

He ultimately landed at Keiter, a CPA and consulting firm in Richmond, and developed their valuation and forensic services practice from the ground up. Today, Keiter has one of the largest diversified BVFLS practices in Virginia outside of the metro-D.C. market.

So in this interview, we are going to explore Harold’s BVFLS practice development efforts at Keiter. What did he do? How did he do it? What worked? What didn’t? What is he doing now? Join us to find out!
